JSP’s Expert Service provides expert care and case management reports for litigation purposes, including for the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA), which will address rehabilitation needs alongside care, support and social needs. The Expert team are experienced practitioners who are highly skilled professionals in their respective fields. They have expertise in brain injury, orthopaedic/trauma injury, mental health and mesothelioma and palliative care. In addition, their Occupational Therapists provide rehabilitation to individuals with a range of health-related conditions, including those with a brain injury, spinal injury and orthopaedic injuries. Their OTs provide a range of assessments and bespoke short- and long-term therapeutic programmes, using client-centred goals and evidence-based practice, while reviewing progress using standardised outcome measures. Their team works to facilitate independence and participation, either through therapeutic interventions or specialist equipment and housing adaptations. Finally, their training team provide Support Worker programmes which cover core and mandatory training as defined by Skills for Care. It’s never just a ‘tick in the box’ exercise, each session is tailored to meet the needs of the client by instilling the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviours required in order for the support worker to deliver high quality, safe and effective person-centered care.
