PsychWorks

Regardless of who is instructing, our treating Psychotherapy Clinicians and Specialist Case Managers are specifically trained to understand the legal journey and the commitment to the client’s rehabilitation.

Our Director and Founder, who is also a Clinical Psychologist and an Advanced BABICM Case Manager, balances a unique service that ensures any treatment work we do for our clients is effectively communicated to the Referrer and legal teams in a proactive manner to ensure the best evidence is available to maximise rehabilitation outcomes and achieve a fair settlement.

Our inclusive ethos enables all clients to overcome barriers to progress and recovery. We also encourage individuals and their families in their cultural contexts to live as close to the quality of life they would have had if the injury had not occurred.

Our main office is based near London where we provide case management and Psychology Services on an individual needs led basis. Our services cover areas including the West Country, Midlands and Northwest as well as London and the surrounding home counties. We provide services in person or virtually, depending on the client’s needs.

Our Case Management clinicians have various high-level training and experience of working with mental health needs alongside rehabilitation goals, and are generally registered with HCPC (or equivalent).

Our team has first-hand experience with the challenges of living in a different country, and our unique position as a service with minority sensitivity and representation can add value to the support available to minority clients.

As well as some 20 languages between us, our team of specialists also has over 300 years of cumulative experience supporting individuals and families in psychological distress while providing input to the professional system around the client.

PsychWorks Associates believe in the importance of emotional wellbeing in the recovery process, be it as a result of physical or psychological trauma.

Distress of a life-changing injury, pressures of the medico-legal machine and difficulties with adjusting can become the perfect storm that threatens to overwhelm and hinder either the rehabilitation goals or settlement outcomes. If this is the case for your client, this might mean a registered psychologist is needed.
