Natalie Creane, 33, was injured when a wood panel fell from a wardrobe in her 5-star hotel room at Abu Dhabi four years ago.
She was celebrating her engagement at the hotel but, instead, her dream break left her in hospital with a brain injury. Four years on, she suffers epileptic seizures, is often fatigued, has speech and movement difficulties and cannot be left unattended.
Natalie eventually married her fiancé – after postponing their wedding three times before she was able to complete the ceremony. The hotel where her injury occurred denies liability and says the panel couldn’t have caused such a traumatic injury and that Natalie is leading a normal life. Natalie is now seeking legal assistance to continue her fight for compensation.
