A recent survey conducted by the Brain Injury Group of brain injured people and their carers revealed that 83% found it difficult to find information on specialist brain injury resources and 95% would welcome a single, online signposting resource to support services. Finding relevant information was the second biggest concern among respondents: the single biggest concern was the impact on the family group. The Brain Injury Group’s new online signposting service – The BIG Directory – aims to help on all levels by providing free, online listings of services that can help people and families affected by brain injury.
