Partnership with Balfour+Manson strengthens access to specialist legal and holistic support for people affected by brain injury across Scotland

We’re proud to announce that Brain Injury Group is extending its litigation support services into Scotland, marking an important milestone in our commitment to supporting those affected by brain injury across the UK.

As the first step in this expansion, we’re excited to welcome Balfour+Manson as our very first Scottish legal member. Their addition will strengthen our growing network of trusted specialists, enabling individuals and families in Scotland to access professional legal support through Brain Injury Group.

Scotland operates under a separate legal jurisdiction from England and Wales, so it’s essential that those affected by brain injury in Scotland have access to experts who truly understand its unique legal landscape. Through our partnership with Balfour+Manson, we aim to provide the guidance, representation and support people need from experienced professionals within their local legal system.

About Balfour+Manson

One of Scotland’s leading solicitors, Balfour+Manson has offices in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow. The firm is highly recognised for its expertise in personal injury and medical negligence cases, including complex and catastrophic brain injury claims. Established in 1888, its team has extensive experience supporting people throughout the litigation process.

Commended for its work with brain injury survivors and their families, Balfour+Manson shares Brain Injury Group’s dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes while putting individuals at the heart of their recovery.

At Balfour+Manson, our clients are at the heart of everything we do. We understand the life-changing impact a brain injury can have, not only on the individual affected but on their families too, and we are committed to providing compassionate, expert support when it matters most. Our experience in complex personal injury and medical negligence claims, combined with our knowledge of Scotland’s legal system, makes us ideally placed to become Brain Injury Group’s first Scottish legal member. We are proud to join the network and excited about working together to improve access to specialist support for people affected by brain injury across Scotland. Alannah Jones, Associate, Balfour+Mason
