Health and social care and education professionals with an interest in cerebral palsy have the chance to win a free place at a major conference taking place in London next month.
Cerebral Palsy | a journey for life take place on Monday 6 July at Grange St Paul’s Hotel, London with a host of highly regarded clinicians, educators, charity and legal professionals sharing the platform and their expertise.
The conference is being hosted by the Brain Injury Group, a national network of dedicated brain injury lawyers and specialist services for people affected by brain injury, in partnership with mother and baby charity, Baby Lifeline. The aim of the conference is to bring together a broad range of experts to help accelerate progress in the prevention and management of cerebral palsy.
The Brain Injury Group is offering one healthcare, social care or education professional the chance to win a free place at the event, and will also include travel costs. It will also provide accommodation on the night before the conference if the winner lives outside London.
“We’re very excited by the programme and the people we’ve pulled together,” says Sally Dunscombe, founder and director of the Brain Injury Group. “Being able to share the experiences of a number of highly regarded professionals who work with individuals and families affected by cerebral palsy improves the knowledge of everyone with an interest in this field.”
“We’d like as many health and social care professionals to attend as possible, and whilst healthcare professionals already benefit from a heavily discounted delegate rate, we’re happy to offer a funded attendance place to one healthcare professional because we do appreciate how much pressure training – and personal – budgets are under!”
If you work in healthcare, you simply need to email enquiries@braininjurygroup.co.uk with a few personal details to be entered into the free prize draw before noon on Wednesday 10 June. Full terms and conditions can be found on the Brain Injury Group website.
The conference will be chaired by Professor James Drife, Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Leeds and President of Baby Lifeline. He will be joined by colleagues from Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust, Professor James Walker, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Mr Nigel Simpson, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
