CFG LawCheadle-based CFG Law, part of the client first group, has become the newest member of the Brain Injury Group.

The firm has over 25 years’ experience of dealing with high value and complex serious injury claims.  CFG Law shares the same approach as other Brain Injury Group members in that it is very much focused on early intervention, treatment and rehabilitation to ensure the best possible outcome for brain injured clients.  Members of CFG Law’s personal injury team also enjoy close connections with medical, social care and rehabilitation professionals who can advise on bespoke rehabilitation and care plans.

Sally Dunscombe, director of the Brain Injury Group welcomes their appointment: “I have known Andrew McGowan, Senior Associate at CFG Law, for many years and he is part of a team that has a stellar reputation in supporting the individuals and the families affected by brain injury.  The firm has significant skills and experience to assist brain injured clients, and I am confident that they will be a great asset to the Brain Injury Group.”

Andrew McGowan commented: “We have been helping people and families affected by brain injury for many years.  We understand the complex needs of brain injured people and work tirelessly not only to identify the compensation they deserve, but also to create both immediate and long term care plans that provide the lifelong care that they and their families may need.  The Brain Injury Group appreciate our approach, and the services and contacts within the Group will help us to provide the holistic care we strive to deliver.”

All Brain Injury Group members are required to go through a robust application process and must be able to demonstrate particular expertise and experience in brain injury litigation. As well as being included in the Law Society Personal Injury Panel and in the current edition of the Headway Head Injury Solicitors List, they should also be able to show that they are involved in the promotion of brain injury awareness and the development of brain injury support services in their local community. Many of them are active members of regional support groups and charities.
