A young woman of 25 has spoken about how she ‘lost’ the first 17 years of her life as the after-effect of a brain injury she suffered in a car crash.
Christina Corp was in a coma for 13 week and her family was warned four times she might die. But she survived and has worked hard to relearn basic skills like walking and talking.
She now works with other families whose loved ones are in a coma and runs a music group for disabled people to help their recovery. Christina says she wants to show how much a brain injured person can do and is to be applauded for the huge effort she has made to rebuild her life.
