Christina Corp, 25, has worked tirelessly to rebuild her life since she was brain damaged in a car crash eight years ago.
She was in a coma for 13 weeks and given a slim chance of survival. But Christina defied the medics and rebuilt her life. She completed a health & social care course and now works to encourage others in similar condition.
She also volunteers at her local Headway shop and gives talks to raise awareness of life after brain injury. Her courage and determination have shone through her injuries and Christina has now been shortlisted for the national Headway Achiever of Year Award for her work helping disabled people.
