Lincolnshire Case Management

Anne-Marie Burnett and Sunneva Thorpe came across each other in 2022 when a solicitor was searching for a case manager for a particularly challenging client in our region. They discovered they were both experienced case managers, both lived in Lincoln, and they shared similar values and ways of working in their individual case management practices. Both were aware of the non-existent services in the area, and they decided to join forces to create Lincolnshire Case Management.

Anne-Marie is a neuro physiotherapist by background and has worked as a specialist brain injury and complex trauma case manager for 18 years. Sunneva is an OT with 24 years of clinical experience including 7 years also working as a brain injury and complex trauma case manager, and as a medico legal expert.

We strongly believe that our personal traits are just as important as our professional experience and attributes when it comes excelling as case managers. We are pro-active, assertive and persistent, whilst being kind, sincere and honest.

Lincolnshire Case Management completes initial needs assessments and provides clinical case management to young and older adults who have complex needs following a serious or catastrophic brain injury, orthopaedic injuries and/or polytrauma.

We accept instructions from claimant solicitors on a unilateral basis and from solicitors and insurers under the Rehabilitation Code.

Assessments are thorough and clearly evidence clients’ needs with carefully considered and justified recommendations. The case managers’ experience and commitment to their clients, together with the organisation’s systems and procedures ensures that case management is of the highest quality and that SMART goals and objectives are central to the service and reporting.
